I am specialised in Cognitive Constructivist approach, a third-wave Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This is an evolution of traditional CBT that draws elements from psychodynamic theories (e.g. attachment theory) and includes approaches such as Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), etc.
It is a client-centered, collaborative and evidence-based therapy that is aimed at developing a deeper knowledge of yourself and how you function on a cognitive, emotional and behavioural level.
The objective is to recognise dysfunctional patterns and find more functional alternatives.
It is not only a matter of changing the external behaviour (the symptoms) but identifying their subjective causes (thoughts, negative beliefs, feelings, emotions): this is essential to regain personal strength and well-being, reach a new balance and achieve a stable change.
