My work is grounded in a deep respect for the human capacity to adapt, recover and grow — even in the face of profound difficulty. Over the years, I have become increasingly interested in what allows some people to restore connection and vitality after stress or trauma, and how psychotherapy can become a transformative process rather than a merely supportive one.
After completing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2004, I qualified as a Chartered Clinical and Counselling Psychologist (HCPC registration #PYL34402), Psychotherapist, and EMDR Practitioner. I am registered with several professional bodies in both the UK and Italy.
My career has unfolded across some of London’s most respected institutions, including the Anna Freud Centre, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, and St Thomas’ Hospital. Alongside clinical work, I contributed to research at King’s College London, University College London, and Imperial College London, publishing in international medical journals.
Living within a bi-cultural family and spending many years as an expatriate have profoundly shaped my understanding of belonging, transition, and identity. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with clients from more than sixty countries, specialising in trauma, complex emotional patterns, anxiety, depression, and dissociation.
Today, my private practice in London offers a highly individualised therapeutic experience for adults and adolescents, in both English and Italian. Alongside ongoing psychotherapy, I also offer immersive therapeutic intensives — bespoke, time-condensed programmes designed to facilitate meaningful psychological resets and lasting change. My clientele often includes international professionals, creatives, and high-profile individuals seeking depth, discretion, and true transformation.
I hold the view that psychological work is a living process — one that evolves as we do. I therefore continue my own therapeutic journey, engage in regular clinical supervision, and invest in advanced professional training to ensure that my work remains attuned, contemporary, and of the highest standard.
